Huzzah! Speaker Applications Closed

I’m excited to let you know that we’ve now closed applications for speakers for our Nov 25th event! We had such a great response that we’ve filled out our list for Nov 25th, and are part-way through a list for our next event!

If you would like to speak at a future event, however, please feel free to submit your talk!

Ignite Waterloo at Waterloo Region Children’s Museum

Great news! We have a location for our Ignite Waterloo evening. We’ll be at the Children’s Museum on November 25. Food and drinks will be catered by the museum. This is a great location and we’re very excited to be using this space. If you haven’t visited the Children’s Museum yet, this will be your chance to see the old Goudies Department store building space.

We’ve also booked in 4 of our 16 speakers – once we have our first 5 solidified, we’ll post the list here for you to check out. In the mean time, if you’re interested in speaking, or know someone that would be a great fit, please submit your suggestion.

The organizational group has been busy in the last few days – we have selected the date for our first Ignite Waterloo event (Nov 25, 2009) and we’re still finalizing the location. We’re hoping to have the venue booked and signed for by the end of September, but as soon as we have a venue booked, we’ll post it here.

Also, we have 3 of our 16 speakers booked, and once we have an initial list confirmed, we’ll post it to the site here.
